Tawi Lodge has an enviable location within the Tawi Conservancy of the Amboseli National Park and Kilimanjaro as its backdrop. Each of the 13 guest cottages are spacious and beautifully designed with attached wooden decks to relax and gaze out over the acacia studded plains to Africa’s highest mountain. Inside, there are four poster beds, open fireplaces and small writing desks. At the rear of the cottage, the en-suite bathrooms boast showers and free-standing baths with solar-powered lighting and hot water. The main area of the lodge is comprised of a large, open-plan lounge and dining area where guests congregate to enjoy the superb cuisine for which the lodge is renowned and share tales of their adventures. The sparkling swimming pool sits just away from the main part of the lodge and is a wonderful place to relax in between game drives. Guests are able to enjoy a variety of activities with the lodge’s guides including day and night game drives in specially designed safari vehicles, guided walks and camel rides. There is also the opportunity to enjoy fly-camping trips within the Tawi Conservancy.
