Heritage Hotel Bhaktapur, Bhaktapur

In the centre of Bhaktapur, the Heritage Hotel has been built in traditional Newari style. While a new building it has been totally created with reclaimed materials, bricks, timber and stone, some coming dating from the 17th Century and decorated with a blend of antiques and furniture crafted by hand by local artisans. Rooms feature carved wood furniture, stone floors and bright, ethnic textiles, all have good size en suite bathrooms, a sitting area with reading nook, a/c, wi-fi and TV. The restaurant serves a good mix of international and Nepali cuisine with produce from the local farms of Bhaktapur and the bar offers cosy indoor seating as well as a terrace.
