Tucked away in the rainforest and right next to the beach in the Masoala National Park, Tampo Lodge is a clean and comfortable base from which to explore this stunning park as well as have some well-earned time to relax on the beach. There are nine Bungalows at the lodge, five of which have direct access to the beach. The bungalows are simple and comfortable with hardwood floors, mosquito-net-covered beds and shaded verandas at the front with hammocks. The bathrooms are en-suite although hot water is only available on request and does require some notice. The social hub of the lodge is a lovely open-plan lounge, dining and bar area where guests can enjoy the lodge’s superb cuisine. The staff go out of their way to ensure that your stay is pleasant can arrange a variety of activities such as whale watching boat trips, guided walks through the forest and boat trips on the bay.
