Fed by water from the highlands of Angola, the water levels vary from month to month, although generally speaking the delta is relatively dry during Botswana's wet season of December to March, before rising through April and May. June to September tend to be the times of highest water, whilst the rising temperatures of October and November see the water levels recede.
