Six Senses Gangtey
Hotel Rating
Our rating: Luxury | Property style: Resort
Six Senses Gangtey is nestled on a hillside, overlooking the valley that’s home to migratory black-necked cranes. This lodge has been designed with a tasteful minimalist style and has a home away from home feel. The lodge is smaller than the other Six Senses Bhutan lodges with only 9 spacious and well-appointed suites and villas with views of the countryside, a television, Bose speakers, a wine fridge and minibar, Nespresso coffee machine and tea making service. The rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows that offer spectacular views of the valley and mountains beyond. The lodges facilities include a spa, a well-stocked library, a charming and cosy lounge lobby and wonderful outdoor spaces with panoramic views. Bhutanese and western cuisine is served at the signature all-day dining restaurant. This is the perfect spot for those keen to explore true wilderness and go on long walks, enjoy birdwatching and explore the charming rural Gangtey village and 16th century Gangtey Goemba Monastery.
