Thulhagiri Island Resort is located in the centre of North Male Atoll, 25 minutes ride by fast boat from the airport. A sparkling turquoise lagoon surrounds this exotic island of tall shady palms and white sandy beaches. The resort offers two kinds of accommodation. There are 50 small beach bungalows with thatched roofs and decorated with bamboo furniture and batik textiles; all with air-conditioning, mini refrigerator, satellite TV, telephone and bathroom with hot and cold desalinated water showers. There are also 17 water bungalows and 20 Superior Water Bungalows positioned above the lagoon with a private sundeck, sun loungers and a parasol, overlooking the endless peaceful ocean. A buffet restaurant and beach bar serve a variety of food, and a wide range of leisure facilities and activities are offered. Both beginners and experienced divers can enjoy the house reef, or for those looking to truly relax, take advantage of the Balinese expertise on offer at The Coconut Spa.
