Considered to be one of the most beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean, Ihuru is surrounded by the unspoiled natural beauty of a shallow lagoon, making it famous for the beauty of its reef and the diversity of its marine life. A true gem of the Maldivian archipelago, the circumference of Ihuru is dotted with 45 captivating beach villas with thatched roofs, private gardens and verandas with dining and sitting areas, some of which also offer a jet pool. The décor combines elements of contemporary design with vivid interiors of lime green, tangerine and yellow hues. All villas feature modern amenities and a beautiful open-air bathroom set amidst lush foliage. A range of cuisine is available, and guests can enjoy the very special dining experience on their own private sandbank. At the Angsana Spa, guests can choose from a range of treatments to enjoy in both indoor and outdoor pavilions, and for those keen divers, the reef is also home to the infamous Rannamaari Wreck which is just 26 metres deep.
