Take a rickshaw ride along Chandni Chowk, one of the busiest streets, the centre of the warren of bazaars and head to the spice market to enjoy the aromas and colours. This afternoon see a different side of the city with a walk through Lodhi to explore the street art, the lanes here are covered with art from different local artists and you can learn about the cultural make-up of the city, end the day with a stroll through the Lodhi gardens admiring the beautiful plants and architecture.

A UNESCO site, the sanctuary is one of the world’s most significant areas for birds and an important migratory stop for a number of species including the endangered Siberian crane.
Day 4 Bharatpur – Sariska: Bird Life
A second visit to the sanctuary in the early morning will allow you to see more of the species that make the park their home including cranes, sandpipers, cormorants, storks and teals. Take an early morning and late afternoon jeep safari with a naturalist in to the reserve today, head towards the 35’ waterfall and look out for tigers, leopards, langurs, nilgai, deer, antelope and mongoose as you also explore the ruins of a 16th Century castle and see the Siliserh Lake, perhaps with some crocodiles basking on the shores.
Day 6 Sariska – Ranthambore: Wild Fortress & Temples
Ranthambore is the king of the reserves in Rajasthan with its crumbling hilltop fortress, lakes and flourishing wildlife. Journey to the reserve this morning in time to head out on an afternoon safari, while famous for its tiger population the reserve also has ruined temples and shallow lakes where you can spot wading birds and in the summer, mammals in search of water.
Day 7 Ranthambore: In Search of the Tigers
The varied topography of Ranthambore welcomes you today for morning and evening safaris, an early start gets you to the park while the animals are still active, hunting for food and moving around before the heat of the day sends them in to the undergrowth. Look out for jackal, sloth bear, mongoose, leopards and birds such as snipes, grebes, godwits and sandpipers. Return to the park in the late afternoon as the animals emerge from their hiding places.

Castle Bijaipur, Bijaipur
An enchanting and modest castle standing high on a plateau of the great Vindhyachal ranges, Castle Bijaipur is one of our favourite heritage hotels. This is not, it should be made clear, because of the service - which is definitely more Fawlty Towers than Aman Resort - but because of the laid-back, unpretentious and aesthetically Indian experience it offers. More elaborate homestay, than commercial hotel, the castle gives breath-taking views of the valley and village encircling it, through which you can horse ride, cycle or take wonderful walks. The rooms of the castle, and its more contemporary Victorian wing, are all individually styled in addition to which there is a lovely courtyard to relax, a large swimming pool, plus a wonderful rooftop terrace to do some yoga, have a romantic dinner or just watch village life go by. For those looking for the heart and soul of India, this quirky palace will form one of the highlights of your adventure. Please note, we advise that you book any additional activities as soon as you arrive as these can get booked up quickly.
The Claridges, Delhi
The Claridges has been a veritable treasure in Lutyens Delhi since the 1950's. Amidst the rush of new modernity, the soul of The Claridges lives on. Refurbished, redesigned and revitalized, the hotel now offers guests an experience that is new and yet so familiar. The hotel is also in an excellent location just a short auto ride from Khan Market and not much further to Connaught Place. Under current management, the hotel has a blend of tradition and modernity. Leading designers of international repute have helped enhance the heritage and elegance of this four star hotel. There are 132 different rooms and suites, all designed with an elegant blend of 19th century character and contemporary style. Wine and dine to your heart's content in the Dhaba, inspired by rustic Punjabi villages; the Jade, serving Chinese-Cantonese cuisine; Sevilla, for all your tapas needs; Pickwicks, a multicuisine buffet that is always open; Ye Old Bakery, where the corn pudding is a must try; or the Aura, a romantic, dimly lit bar. There is also a refreshing outdoor pool, indoor gym and relaxing spa to enjoy at the end of a busy day.
Khem Villas, Ranthambore
At Khem Villas, it is common to see jackals, jungle cats, hyenas, desert fox and crocodiles within the 10 acres of surrounding grasslands. The hotel has a series of cottages and tents, each with private terrace. The eight stand-alone luxury cottages are spacious and comfortable, each with an outdoor shower, a large private courtyard and veranda. The food at the camp is entirely vegetarian, cooked using mainly home-grown organic vegetables, they have their own organic dairy and bakery. It is the perfect spot to go on a wildlife safari or alternatively, relax and indulge in the Ayurvedic treatments on offer.
Utsav Camp, Sariska Tiger Reserve
Surrounded by the rugged landscape of the Aravelli Hills, Utsav Camp offers a welcome escape from the busy cities and the perfect surroundings in which you can relax and soak up the region's stunning nature. The beautiful boulders of Tehla won the heart of a naturalist who understood their healing power and wanted to share this unique experience with like-minded travellers, and so Utsav Camp was born. Here guests will be immersed in a holistic nature experience, from the beautifully finished rooms and cabins, to the wonderful experiences on offer to explore the area, to the delicious fresh dishes produced using locally-sourced produce. The strong dedication to responsible tourism not only focuses on environmental efforts but also to the local communities as well, with over 85% of the Utsav Camp team having been hired from Tehla or the surrounding villages. The mantra is unplug to reconnect, and so you won't find wifi or tvs in your rooms. Instead, you'll be welcomed by stunning murals covering the walls of your spacious but cosy rooms, which offer private outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the region's wildlife. Forget manicured gardens and embrace the wild beauty of this property, which perfectly combines modern luxury with a truly unique hidden gem of the country.

Positive Impact of this Trip
Making a Difference
Community Tourism
People and local communities have always been at the heart of Wild Frontiers and the travel experiences we offer. Through community tourism we have the opportunity to generate real positive impact, supporting people we visit through sustainable local development, and in turn help to alleviate poverty and protect culture and environments in often more vulnerable destinations. While doing so, our clients gain richer travel experiences and more meaningful connections with the people they meet.
Conservation and Climate Action
As a travel company, we hold a responsibility to minimise our environmental footprint and contribute to sustainability, and work closely with local communities to support their efforts. By implementing initiatives such as carbon measuring, tree-planting, reducing single-use plastic and promoting eco-friendly practices, we can help mitigate the negative impacts of tourism on fragile ecosystems and local communities. Additionally, prioritising conservation efforts helps preserve natural habitats and wildlife, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the wonders of our planet.
Wild Frontiers Foundation
The Wild Frontiers Foundation aims to provide a platform to create awareness, raise money and deliver funding to projects in countries where we operate as a travel company. Through the foundation, we are able to channel money into grass roots projects, which we have either established ourselves or support through charity partners. These include initiatives focused around education, the empowerment of local people and community conservation.
