We are delighted that Carla Capalbo won the prestigious Guild of Food Writers Food and Travel Award 2018 for her book Tasting Georgia on Monday evening.
Tasting Georgia is full of excellent recipes featuring the wonderful flavours that make Georgian cuisine so renowned. But more than that, there are beautifully illustrated stories about Georgian wine and cuisine, that tell you more about the history and culture of this fascinating region.
Carla is leading a tour focusing on the cuisine of Georgia, which departs on 26 September 2018. The 9-day tour takes in food markets, local restaurants and includes masterclasses and cooking demos as it travels from the capital Tbilisi to the Svaneti Mountains and the Kakheti wine region.
