Although it is less accessible than some other properties, with a 55-minute flight and 45-minute boat ride, don't be put off as Ayada is certainly worth the wait. Set across 15 hectares of tranquil paradise, this beautiful property has repeatedly made it into the best of the best hotel lists for the Maldives. With a wide range of accommodation, there’s something for everyone, with interconnecting villas perfect for families, or beautiful sunset suites with romantic garden areas for couples. You’ll find a range of restaurants throughout the island which offer the perfect variety of cuisine, from European and Asian dishes to fine dining. The award-winning Ayspa spa is somewhat of a treat with the addition of a Turkish hammam and the Maldives’ first vichy room, not to mention multiple treatment villas, a hairdresser and a nail salon. Guests can take advantage of the many activities and facilities available, from yoga and tennis to numerous watersports and excursions away from the island.
