Isalo Rock Lodge commands a stunning location looking out towards huge granite outcrops that give the lodge its name, just 30 minutes by road from the main entrance of the Isalo National Park. The large property is modern and well-run with 60 bedrooms set in blocks to one side of the main lodge area. Inside, each of the rooms are spacious and modern with air-conditioning, indoor sitting areas, modern amenities, personal mini-bars and sliding glass doors leading on to private balconies. The en-suite bathrooms are beautifully appointed and come with full amenities as well as showers and freestanding baths. The main area of the lodge has a large bar area and a dining room where a mixture of local and international dishes are served. There is a sparkling swimming pool tucked away to one side of the main lodge, a popular spot for guests to relax in the afternoon and soak up the sunshine. Isalo Rock Lodge is recommended for easy access to the national park and a bit of luxury to relax in.
