This afternoon see a different side of the city with a walk through Lodhi to explore the street art, the lanes here are covered with art from different local artists and you can learn about the cultural make-up of the city, end the day with a stroll through the Lodhi gardens admiring the beautiful plants and architecture.
Day 3 Delhi – Bharatpur: Indian Railways
Board the train and experience travel on India’s vast rail network this morning, arriving at Bharatpur, transfer to the bird sanctuary at Keoladeo National Park and head out to see some of the wildlife this afternoon in a cycle or electronic rickshaw. A UNESCO site, the sanctuary is one of the world’s most significant areas for birds and an important migratory stop for a number of species including the endangered Siberian crane.
Day 4 Bharatpur – Sariska: Bird Life
A second visit to the sanctuary in the early morning will allow you to see more of the species that make the park their home including cranes, sandpipers, cormorants, storks and teals. Later drive on to Sariska, the reserve here of rocky hills and arid grasslands and forests is home to large number of species including a tiger population, while the lake has over 211 bird species recorded.
Day 5 Sariska: Waterfall & Lake Wildlife
Take an early morning and late afternoon jeep safari with a naturalist in to the reserve today, head towards the 35’ waterfall and look out for tigers, leopards, langurs, nilgai, deer, antelope and mongoose as you also explore the ruins of a 16th Century castle and see the Siliserh Lake, perhaps with some crocodiles basking on the shores.
Day 6 Sariska – Ranthambore: Wild Fortress & Temples
Ranthambore is the king of the reserves in Rajasthan with its crumbling hilltop fortress, lakes and flourishing wildlife. Journey to the reserve this morning in time to head out on an afternoon safari, while famous for its tiger population the reserve also has ruined temples and shallow lakes where you can spot wading birds and in the summer, mammals in search of water.
Day 7 Ranthambore: In Search of the Tigers
The varied topography of Ranthambore welcomes you today for morning and evening safaris, an early start gets you to the park while the animals are still active, hunting for food and moving around before the heat of the day sends them in to the undergrowth. Look out for jackal, sloth bear, mongoose, leopards and birds such as snipes, grebes, godwits and sandpipers. Return to the park in the late afternoon as the animals emerge from their hiding places.
Day 8 Ranthambore – Bijaipur: Castle Hotel

Positive Impact of this Trip
Making a Difference
Community Tourism
People and local communities have always been at the heart of Wild Frontiers and the travel experiences we offer. Through community tourism we have the opportunity to generate real positive impact, supporting people we visit through sustainable local development, and in turn help to alleviate poverty and protect culture and environments in often more vulnerable destinations. While doing so, our clients gain richer travel experiences and more meaningful connections with the people they meet.
Conservation and Climate Action
As a travel company, we hold a responsibility to minimise our environmental footprint and contribute to sustainability, and work closely with local communities to support their efforts. By implementing initiatives such as carbon measuring, tree-planting, reducing single-use plastic and promoting eco-friendly practices, we can help mitigate the negative impacts of tourism on fragile ecosystems and local communities. Additionally, prioritising conservation efforts helps preserve natural habitats and wildlife, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the wonders of our planet.
Wild Frontiers Foundation
The Wild Frontiers Foundation aims to provide a platform to create awareness, raise money and deliver funding to projects in countries where we operate as a travel company. Through the foundation, we are able to channel money into grass roots projects, which we have either established ourselves or support through charity partners. These include initiatives focused around education, the empowerment of local people and community conservation.
