Nicknamed the ‘Pearl of the Pacific’, the city is filled with labyrinthine alleyways and cobbled streets that hide a rich multitude of monuments, churches and architectural gems. For the artistically inclined, Valparaiso has an international status in the graffiti art scene and walking around the quaint town one is immediately confronted with the colourful murals it has become renowned for.
